Cancel where you paid. If you subscribed inside an iPhone or Android app, cancel through the App Store or Google Play, not the app itself. If you paid on the company’s website, cancel in your account or billing settings on that site. Deleting the app does not stop billing.
Not sure where you paid? Search your email for the receipt. An Apple or Google receipt means an app-store subscription; a receipt from the company or a payment processor means a web subscription.
How to cancel on iPhone or iPad (App Store)
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose the AI boyfriend app.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You keep access until the end of the current billing period. If you don’t see the app in the list, you probably subscribed on the web or with a different Apple account.

- Log in to the app’s website on a computer or phone browser.
- Look for Account, Settings, Billing, Subscription or Plan, usually under your profile picture.
- Choose Cancel or Turn off auto-renew and confirm.
- Keep the confirmation email or take a screenshot.
If you can’t find a cancel option:
- Contact support by email or the help center, and ask for written confirmation that renewal is off.
- Check your payment method. If you paid with PayPal, you can cancel the recurring payment from PayPal’s automatic payments settings. Some card issuers and banking apps also let you block a recurring merchant.
- As a last resort, contact your card issuer about the charge. Do this only after you’ve tried the company, and keep records of your attempts.
Before you cancel
- Use up your tokens. Token or coin balances may not survive cancellation. Check the terms.
- Check for annual renewal dates. If you’re on a yearly plan, cancel well before it renews.
- Watch for weekly plans. Apps like Kupid AI and Chai offer weekly billing, which can renew several times before you notice.

No. Deleting the app only removes it from your phone. Your subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in the App Store, Google Play or on the app's website, wherever you originally paid. If you're not sure where that was, search your email for the original receipt.
Can I get a refund on an AI boyfriend subscription?
Sometimes. For App Store purchases you can request a refund from Apple through its Report a Problem page; for Google Play, request one through Google Play.
